- 1 packet Vegie Delights™ Savoury Mince
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp mixed Italian herbs
- 1 Tbsp No Added Salt tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 x 400g tin No Added Salt diced tomatoes
- 400g fettuccine pasta
To serve
- Parmesan or cheese of choice
- Fresh basil leaves
- Drizzle olive oil into a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook for 4 - 5 minutes, or softened and starting to colour. Add mixed herbs and cook for 30 sec.
- Add Vegie Delights Savoury Mince to the onion mixture, and break up with a spatula.
- Add tomato paste, tinned tomatoes, and water. Stir well and bring to the boil.
- Reduce heat, and simmer for 6 - 8 mins, or until sauce is thickened.
- Cook pasta according to packet directions. Toss pasta with Vegie Delights Bolognese, serve with cheese and fresh basil.
