BLT Open Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 4 thick slices of multigrain country style bread (8 if closed sandwich is preferred)
- Low salt margarine to spread
- 8 crispy lettuce leaves
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 8 Vegie Delights Bacon Style Rashers
Directions
- Spread bread with margarine, top each slice with two 2 lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
- In a frying pan, cook Bacon Style Rashers with olive oil for one minute each side.
- Place two hot Bacon Style Rashers of top of salad.
- Cover with second slice of bread for a closed BLT sandwich.
